Our citrus season is starting to come to an end. The orange and grapefruit trees are nearly bare, but we'll have all the sweet jams and marmalades until next year!
It's so funny to see my stocked pantry and think that in 9 months time I'll be hoarding the last little bit until the trees are ready with their fruit!
Here's the lovely Red Grapefruit Jelly that I made this year.
The recipe I used was from Food.com.
I guess I changed the recipe some...
3 cups of sugar instead of 4 1/2 cups
Low Sugar Sure Jell instead of regular
3 cups fresh squeezed grapefruit juice instead of bottled.
It is yummy!
We like to taste the fruit more than the sugar!
